General Filter

A filter that is applied across the entire Portal to make searching simpler

There may be certain Users who will have access to several Clients and the jobs associated to them. To help these Users find the ‘Work Orders’ required, a filter is available in the Portal called the ‘General Filter’. To access the filter, click the filter icon next to the Avatar menu in the top right hand corner of the portal

The ‘General Filter’ provides the ability to filter down what is seen on the Portal as follows:

Clients Filter - Only Work Orders associated to the selected Client(s) will be shown. 

Buildings Filter - Only Work Orders against the selected Building(s) will be shown. 

Work Order Types Filter - Only Work Orders associated to the selected Work Order Type(s) will be shown

Building Groupings Filter - Only Work Orders associated to the selected Grouping(s) will be shown. Groupings are Client specific data sets and can be used differently dependant on the client, meaning the data returned here will be different per client

Building Format Filter - Only Work Orders associated to the selected Building Format(s) will be shown

Every time a Client, Building, Type and Grouping is selected, the selected field is populated with the choice made. Once all the selections have been made, clicking the ‘Save’ button will apply the filter.

Note: Please be aware that the Client filter will only appear if the User has multiple Clients.
