If the WO has not already been started the "Start Job" button will be visible, otherwise the "Stop Job" button will be shown.
Start Job
After tapping the "Start Job" button from the actions menu, the device will display the Start Job page, this page will display the start time, which will be automatically populated with the devices time and date. Any questions that come as part of the work order and notifications of asbestos on site.
Depending on the system, the user may be required to specify the Attendees Logging On. The name that appears firstly is the name entered by the User upon their first login on the device, however this can be changed if need be. Underneath this is the "Tap to log on attendees starting now" button which, when tapped, allows the User enter the names of other engineers attending the WO. Once all elements on this page have been completed/read the submit button in the top right hand corner of the screen shall become enabled.
Note: There maybe some cases where the Client does not want the engineer to continue with the work/refuse them access to the site. This can be controlled by the Questionnaire which can force the User to make sure the data is correct and that they are fully prepared for the work. If the questions answered don't fulfil the requirements of the Questionnaire, the system will fail it and not allow the WO to be started.
Stop Job
After tapping the "Stop Job" button from the actions menu, the device will display the stop job page, this page will display the stop time, which will be automatically populated with the devices time and date. Select an option as to whether a revisit is require or not. Depending on the Client requirements, the User may also need to perform the Check In action again.
Should "Yes" be selected where a revisit is required, the device will display the Revisit Information section where the User will need to provide details as to why a revisit is require and whether a fix is in place. Then, depending on the WO, User will then be moved onto either the Assets section if the WO is Asset based or the User will be asked to specify if a repair was made or not.
If the WO is Location based, the question "Was a repair carried out?" appears. Tapping "No" will progress to the next section. Tapping "Yes" will display the "Repair(s)". Here, the User needs choose the correct part(s) from the list and specify the type of fix made. This will include, but is not limited to, "Added", "Cleaned", "Repaired" and "Replaced". If the relevant part is not present, tapping the "Tap to add Custom Repair Type" link will allow the user enter in a custom part and specify the fix for it. Once entered, tap "Submit" to proceed.
Note: If the User chooses "Added", "Repaired" or "Replaced", they will be prompted to supply the details of the new parts used to fix these issues.
If the WO is Asset based, the "Assets" section will appear and will display the Assets on the WO detailing their name, number and location of the Asset within the site. The User can select which Assets were worked on in this visit and determining how long they were worked on for. The User also has the option to provide details of any parts that may have been used whilst working on the Asset(s). Tap "Submit" to proceed with the Stop Job.
Note: If there are other Assets at site that fit the description of the WO, another button will be displayed which displays these Assets. The User then has the option to add these Assets to the WO and provide details on the work done on them.
If "No" was selected as part of the revisit or the has progressed past the above sections, the Questions screen will be shown. Just like during with other cases of the questions, the User is asked to answer the questions that are displayed in this section. This answers can be in many different formats such as text based answers, Yes/No answers, numerical answers and some can even require images. Some will even include instruction that the User can tap on to find out more details about what is being asked. In most cases, all questions will need to be answered, however there are some that are optional. Optional questions show the "decline" button so if the question is not relevant to the situation, the User can tap this and progress without having to answer it. Once all questions have been answered, tap "Submit" to proceed.
The last section that appears, depending on the system settings, is the Client Signature page. From here, the User is required to get the Client (usually located at site) to provide their signature to prove that the work was done. The Client needs to provides their name and then draw their signature in the field below. Once this information has been entered, tap "Submit" to proceed.
Once all the information has been entered, the User has one final chance to review the information. When happy, tap "Submit" to complete the Stop Job action.
