During the Create Reactive Work Order process, it is possible that the fault/issue that the Work Order is being created for is related to a particular Asset. If that is the case, then follows these steps to ensure the Asset is selected during the Work Order creation:

Navigate to the Create Reactive Work Order page as per the Create Reactive Work Order Process and select the your Site.

You will then be asked to describe the issue/requirement of the Work Order, however, if you want to create the Work Order for a particular Asset, select <Alternatively, click here to search by Asset number>

Enter the name or number of the Asset and this will bring up a list of Assets relevant to the search. Upon selecting the relevant Asset, you will be asked if it “Can still be used even with the problem present?”. If you select <Yes>, it will automatically fill the box in the “Working?” column

Once the Asset(s) has been selected, proceed with the normal Work Order creation process.

Note: If the Asset is under warranty, the warranty resource column would show the resource responsible for this Asset

This will then automatically assign the Work Order to this “Resource” later on in the Work Order creation process for the Work Order to be attended to under the warranty terms
