Ostara can configure a user’s account to link to any other accounts they may use Ostara for. Users may have different accounts based on scope of work where not everything they require can be accessed on one account, or they may use Ostara for different clients. Rather than having to save multiple portal addresses and remember a user name and password for each, Ostara can configure the primary account so that they can then use the Change Client function to quickly and efficiently to change to another one of their accounts by simply selecting from a drop-down list of their accounts

To access this feature, navigate to Avatar Menu > Change Client

You will then be presented with the “Change Client User” screen that will allow you to select the User you wish to change to based on those that have been linked together.

Note: If this is a requirement, a list of the different Usernames to be linked should be sent to your Ostara Systems Administrator for this request to be fulfilled.

Pre-Requisite: User Accounts are linked together

Permissions: No specific permissions are required to use this feature, just the above setup and the login details for the different Clients have been created
