About the Estates Module Pre-Requisites for setting up Buildings: Estates Sub-Modules:

About the Estates Module

This module is not only a data repository but is the source of data used throughout the system. It holds information such as:

  • Square footage of sales and total areas.
  • Access Availability – including occupied and trading times to assist with allocation of an appropriate time for contractors to visit site.
  • Noise restrictions (Noise Abatement Orders) – which need to be taken into consideration when sending contractors to site, for example ensuring no waste collections take place before 6am at certain sites.
  • Contacts – multiple , per site including escalation contacts and out of hours contacts.
  • Addresses – delivery, postal and contractor reporting point.
  • Refit/Refurbishment details.
  • Closure arrangements.
  • Asbestos register.

Pre-Requisites for setting up Buildings:

The following information needs to be existent in the system before Buildings can be set up:

  • Locations
  • Grouping 1
  • Grouping 2
  • Grouping 3
  • Building Types
  • Building Formats

Estates Sub-Modules:

Building Availability: Key to the success of any job allocation and scheduling is up to date information regarding trading times and presence within the sites.

Restrictions: Other elements that may influence the execution of a job by any allocated resource are the physical restrictions which are also made available at the appropriate time.

Locations: Four tier locations enables accuracy for job reporting.

Asbestos: Creating an asbestos register per Building enables easy reference to this data. This is provided to all contractors as part of the start job permit process to give full visibility before work commences.

PTW Books: A record of all Permit to Work books at each site which enables validation of contractor presence when starting jobs.

Documents: Building documents is where you will view any Building certificates, risk assessments, floor plans etc for each Building.
