How to escalate a WO

If a Work Order has been sent out to the Resource and no response has been had, it is possible to escalate this through the chain of contacts against that Resource. This can be done using the ‘Escalate’ action.

On the Work Order Detail screen, select the <Escalate> action to display the ‘Escalate’ pop up.

This will display a list of contacts that can be escalated to, for the Resource, on the Work Order. The escalation contacts shown will be of the relevant escalation level. If this is the first time escalating, the contacts shown will be escalation levels 1. If this is the second time, level 2 contacts will be shown etc.

Select the desired contacts by ticking the tick box next to them, enter notes in the Notes field and click <Save> to escalate the WO to selected contacts.
